Overview
This pen shaped visual fault locator is a tool used on terminated fiber optic cables to locate sharp bends or breaks in jacketed or bare fiber.
Note: Meant for use with polished, terminated fiber cables. Always insert and remove the fiber connector without bending the connector to avoid breaking the ceramic tube.

The protective dust cap keeps the fiber connection port clear from dust and debris when not in use.
Durable Metal Housing
The VFL is constructed with a metal housing for long lasting durability.
Identify Fiber Breaks Easily
The pen has a bright red laser at 650nm and can quickly illuminate fiber optic cable breaks. It also has continuous (CW) and flashing (Glint) modes.

This ferrule adapter is used to convert the 2.5mm ferrule of a VFL to a 1.25mm ferrule in order to plug in LC connectors. Compatible with our TLH-2000 VFL tool.
