The USB 2.0 ports have transfer rates of up to 480 Mbps and are ideal when working with USB peripherals such as scanners, printers, hard drives, Zip drives, digital cameras, modems, handhelds/PDAs, tape drives, CD-RWs, DVDs, etc.

The USB 2.0 Host Adapter will work as a USB 2.0 host with PC systems with USB 2.0 operating system support, and as a USB 1.1 host with PC and Mac® systems .

This PCI bus card is ideal for the use with Lava's Kazan - the IDE hard drive enclosure with USB 2.0-to-IDE interface - to ensure ultra high-speed USB 2.0 transfer rates.
